Job Summary

Loyear Disaster Restoration LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager & Estimator to oversee restoration projects from inception to completion. This role involves managing the full cycle of water, fire, and mold restoration projects, including creating accurate estimates, coordinating teams, and ensuring timely, cost-effective project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of restoration processes, excellent project management skills, and a strong customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess water, fire, and mold damage to determine scope of work and estimate project costs.
• Prepare and deliver accurate, detailed estimates for restoration projects using industry-standard software (e.g., Xactimate).
• Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring resources and equipment are allocated efficiently.
• Manage all aspects of project timelines, from mitigation through reconstruction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with field technicians, ensuring work is carried out to company and industry standards.
• Conduct on-site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure compliance with scope and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, addressing any issues or changes that may arise during the project.
• Ensure proper documentation of all job-related activities, including photos, estimates, and job progress updates.
• Prepare final invoices and assist in resolving any payment or insurance claim issues.
• Participate in post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and estimating, preferably in the disaster restoration industry.
• IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, FSRT) and proficiency with Xactimate or other estimating software required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with clients, adjusters, and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and best practices for water, fire, and mold restoration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
