Loyear Disaster Restoration LLC is seeking a hardworking and dependable Cleaning Assistant with a focus on carpet cleaning to join our team. As a Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for performing professional cleaning services, primarily carpet cleaning, for residential and commercial clients. You will play a vital role in ensuring our clients’ spaces are clean, sanitized, and presentable. This position is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of carpets, rugs, and upholstery using specialized equipment and cleaning solutions.
• Perform pre-cleaning inspections of carpets to assess the level of cleaning required.
• Move and protect furniture and other items as needed to prepare areas for cleaning.
• Operate carpet cleaning machines and extractors to deep clean and remove dirt, stains, and odors from carpets.
• Spot-clean areas with heavy staining or soiling and apply protective treatments as needed.
• Assist with general cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering client questions about the cleaning process and addressing any concerns.
• Assist with other cleaning tasks, such as post-restoration clean-ups, as assigned.
• Document services performed, including before and after photos, and report any issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in carpet cleaning or general cleaning preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to operate carpet cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and moving furniture.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
